Kate started with the practice in 2011 as a receptionist in our Ramsey branch. She moved to our onchan branch in 2013 as an Animal care assistant and commenced her Veterinary Nursing Diploma in 2015. Kate finished her training and qualified as a Veterinary Nurse at the end of 2017.
Kate had a fantastic opportunity in 2015 to attend an advanced K-Laser training course in Tennessee and has been running our laser service since then. She is enthusiastic about the use of alternative therapies alongside standard veterinary treatment to benefit animals.
As is common with all veterinary staff Kate has collected many waifs and strays throughout her time in practice and has fostered numerous animals. At present Kate has 2 cats, Marple and Mistletoe, who were both rescued through the practice. She also has 2 dogs, Max and Dalma, who are european rescues with sight issues.
