Before nursing, I studied Equine Science and worked as a groom. However, it was always my dream to nurse and I qualified as an RVN in 2010. Since then, I have undertaken a certificate of Veterinary Nursing in Emergency and Critical Care. I am clinical coach and thoroughly enjoy teaching. I feel a lot of pride in the highly skilled nurses Arg Beiyn produces.
I feel passionate about animal welfare, I am a trustee for Manx Wild Bird Rehabbers and have enjoyed volunteering and fund raising for animal charities, home and abroad. In my spare time, I work as a live-in groom where I look after horses, peacocks, chickens and cats. Living with my pony, Pepsi, is a dream come true, and working here allows me the opportunity to compete in dressage competitions. I have two rescue kitties, Maurey and Pea, whom I adore. I like to sing to our feline patients and I am often referred to as the ‘crazy cat lady’.
