I qualified as a RVN in 2016 and recently graduated from Harper Adams University with a BSc (Hons) in Veterinary Nursing and Practice Management, alongside a VPMA practice administration certificate. Although predominantly at university, I have been working at Arg Beiyn on and off for four years now, and soon realised that this was the place I wanted to begin my professional career. I am currently taking a break from studying, however I am looking forward to embarking on additional qualifications and courses, with budding interest in emergency and critical care and oncology. In addition to small animal practice, I have an interest in large animal veterinary medicine, resultant of my rural island upbringing, work experience and agricultural nature of university life. I have been passionate about animals and my ambition to become a veterinary nurse from a young age, starting work experience towards this at thirteen years old. I enjoy the spontaneity of each day and find making a difference to our patients and clients incredibly rewarding.
In my free time I enjoy clay pigeon shooting, cooking and spending time with friends and family (including the four-legged variety).
